Tomato chutney On Eid

Tomato chutney is a very tasty and delicious food item that was invented to add more flavors to the food. This relish can be prepared using various methods and ingredients. In the time of summers it is accompanied with mango to add a bitter taste to it. People prefer to eat it with simple Dal and Rice.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cube Joggery
  • 1/2 kg tomatoes
  • salt to taste
  • 2 Teaspoons red chilli powder
  • Oil, hinge and mustard for garnishing
  • 1 spoon Haldi

Method:

Rinse tomatoes and slash them into parts. Take 4 dollop of oil and heat up it and put in mustard seeds. Add the tomato pieces once all the mustard crackled and for five minutes cook more. put in chilli powder, salt, haldi and jaggery. Close the container with a cover and cook over a little heat till the tomatoes turn into soft. Remove from fire when the fusion becomes thick.
