Herbal Naan

Naan are consumed mostly in all countries with various dishes. The Herbal Naan is the modification of naan and is very tasty to eat and is healthy also.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup curd
  • 1 cup fine flour maida
  • 2 teaspoon oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped basil leaves
  • milk for kneading
  • 1 teaspoon finely dry mint

Method:

strain baking powder, salt and maida in dish and mix up coriander yoghurt(curd), basil, oil, and mint. For 10 minutes leave it covered, then mash and combine together. Knead the dough by adding little milk. Cover and put down for two hours. Lubricate the hands. Slash out balls (oil) of the same amount from the dough. Push with yours hands to level them as a naan and cook in the oven or in a hot tandoor. Serve up with butter.
